Darren Angel is located in Werris Creek NSW and has been in this area since 2004.   He and his family have always been passionate about having pets involved in their day to day activities, but his two dogs Tessa and Boots (Fox Terrier/Jack Russell) always had a nose for trouble and would rarely be seen at home unless on a chain or in a pen.  In an effort to keep his pets involved in his family, especially his 3 children, radio fence systems were considered as a lower cost way of keeping his pets home, rather than replacing all existing fencing.  In looking at his options, the Hidden Fence system was a standout.

WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE BREED OF DOG TO TRAIN TO AN ELECTRONIC DOG FENCE CONTAINMENT SYSTEM, AND WHY?

Fox Terriers! Although I’m biased as we have two of the breed. Fox terriers, border collies, cattle dogs, kelpies…love them all.

WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE HIDDEN FENCE DOG CONTAINMENT SYSTEM TO USE IN THE FIELD, AND WHY?

The PT4 professional Invisible Fence. By far the best system on the market. Before we became dealers…we did the research; a lot of systems in the market place really didn’t compare regarding quality and engineering. The Hidden Fence website details how the engineering and technology is far and away superior; after the research and many systems later…the site was correct. Everything from the correction level thresholds, to the plastic the receiver collars are made from…was better, much better.
This is why we originally went with the Hidden Fence dog containment system and why we became dealers.

DO YOU HAVE A GOOD STORY TO SHARE ABOUT CONTAINING A DOG?

Four foxys from one of our first customers were the ultimate escape artists, no sooner you would let them off the chain, and they would be looking for the quickest way out, even though they had a large block.  The customers were always worried about them being taken, or hit by a car or the ranger sending us hefty fines which meant they were always tied up.  Hidden fence has allowed them to do away with the chains, and their kids now love their pets.  Happy owners, happy kids and most of all happy pets!
